Universal Design ThingLink Library Floor Plan/Virtual Tour

  This week's assignment was to  Create a virtual tour of an inclusive library. I needed to Include ADA and UDL elements to show that my library is accessible. Creating Inclusive and Accessible Learning Environments with Universal Design

This week's asignment was all about Universal Design. So what is Universal Design exactly? Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework that aims to make learning accessible to all students. The UDL guidelines emphasize flexibility in the design of instructional materials, activities, and assessments to accommodate a wide range of learner diversity. To embrace UDL effectively, educators can follow three primary principles: multiple means of representation, multiple means of action and expression, and multiple means of engagement.(CAST, 2010) I wanted to explore what elements of Universal Design I implemented in my teaching.
