Infographic My task for this week was to design an infographic using information from the website www.pewresearch.org.  When I initially read the project directions, I misunderstood the task, thinking we were supposed to choose one of the three infographic generator websites and create an infographic. For my choice, I decided to use Piktochart. My first impression was that Piktochart closely resembled Canva, a tool I was already familiar with. However, I quickly realized that there were some differences. One of the challenges I encountered with Piktochart was the need to experiment with the layout to make text fit well within the design. I can remember technology being one of the most important tools for me as a teacher. I used it every day in my instruction. I knew that it was going to immediately engage my students. Technology has altered how we access and absorb information, it has become an essetial part of our lives and also in education, which has been both a blessing and a challenge.
